Welcome!
You have just made the first step in moving beyond your barriers, and perhaps one step closer to feeling the freedom of being your authentic self.
moreI respectfully acknowledge that the work I do takes place on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, covered under the Williams Treaties. I am grateful to the Mississauga Peoples for their long-standing teachings and care for this land and recognize my responsibility as a settler on this territory to take meaningful action towards reconciliation.
I recognize the fact that various genders and sexualities were an integral and celebrated part of many Indigenous nations prior to colonization. Queer, trans, and Two-Spirit Indigenous people still exist today despite colonizers’ attempts to erase them. It’s important to know that Europeans’ introduction of homophobia and transphobia to this land is the reason why I work to seek equitable space and provide education to support the liberation for the 2SLGBTQI community.
